In order to use Nokia Messaging, you must have all of the following:

• an existing POP or IMAP e-mail account
• a wireless data service plan with your wireless operator
• a supported Nokia device
• Nokia Messaging software installed in your device

Signing up to Nokia Messaging

Sign up to Nokia Messaging at email.nokia.com.

After signing up to Nokia Messaging, you should identify your supported Nokia device model. After this, enter your POP or IMAP e-mail address and password, and then enter your mobile number.

Downloading and installing Nokia Messaging

During setup, you’ll get an SMS message with a link to the Nokia Messaging software.

This link guides you through the installation of Nokia Messaging software on your device. Your mobile number is required to send this SMS to your device. We won’t share your mobile number except in accordance with our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

Using Nokia Messaging for e-mail

Nokia Messaging for e-mail automatically fetches your e-mails from your POP or IMAP e-mail account as new e-mail arrives. To access your e-mails, Nokia Messaging uses the user name and password you provided during sign-up.
