Having trouble logging in? Remember that your username and password are the same as the e-mail address and password that you used to sign up for Nokia Messaging.
To sync your IMAP subfolders, log into your account on email.nokia.com, and select the Edit settings link next to an e-mail address for which you would like to sync additional folders. Select Retrieval settings > Folder subscriptions to change which folders are updated.
Depending on the model and firmware version of your Nokia device, you may have Nokia Messaging preloaded. If you are in a country where Nokia Messaging is available, but not preloaded, the e-mail setup application on your device will setup your e-mail address in Nokia Messaging. As an alternative, you can sign up for Nokia Messaging at email.nokia.com.
Experiencing connection problems? Check the Sync while roaming setting if you are experiencing connection problems.
If you notice some irregular scrolling and selecting behaviour, it may be because although Nokia Messaging handles rich formatted text and lighter HTML-formatted e-mails very well, some larger messages with more complex formatting can display incorrectly.
Want to edit your e-mail settings? While signing up for a Nokia Messaging account, you can include the outgoing mail server as part of advanced settings. If you have a Nokia Messaging account you are now able to edit your e-mail server settings from the My Account page. This will be helpful if you are experiencing difficulty sending or receiving e-mails, or if you think the e-mail setup wizard has not discovered your provider’s settings correctly.
